Deleting Content

Stories
Visit the story you want to delete using the stories list. If you are a logged in editor you should see an “Admin” box below the page content. Select “Delete this Story” and then click . You will be asked to confirm you decision. Deleted content can be retrieved if you remember its story number. Visit that story number and you will have an opportunity to “undelete”.

Pictures
Visit the picture you want to delete using the pictures list. Click the “Discuss” link which appears under the picture. At the bottom of that page you will find an “Admin” box. Select “Delete this Picture” and then click .

Gems
Click Gems in your “Editors Only” menu. To delete a Gem simply click the check-box next to the Gem you want to remove, then click the delete button at the bottom of the list.

FYI: DO NOT attempt to delete a story by editing the story, then removing the content and title. This will not delete your story but will leave you with a series of blank entries in your stories list which are difficult to remove.
