The trainings that will be offered this year will be a variety of disciplines that will enable professional to develop critical basic skills as well as many advanced skills.

Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR):

This training is part of the emergency cardiac care system designed to save lives. Many deaths can be prevented by prompt recognition of and notification of the emergency medical system. CPR is designed to support and maintaining breathing and circulation until emergency medical personal arrive and take over.  Every year, CPR saves thousands of lives in the United States.

 

Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-Act):

This is a comprehensive training course designed to provide professionals with principles to problem solve behavioral challenges across educational settings.  These principles will help the individuals provide a safe, positive and professional educational environment.  These principles will assist individuals in identifying behavioral triggers and alternatives, develop an emergency response framework and utilize appropriate crisis communication.  Documentation, evasion, de-escalation and restraint principles will be discussed and practiced during this training and certification.
