The staff development activities being offered this year will enable educators develop new ideas and master many areas of instruction as well as provide information that is needed to help achieve positive outcomes for your students. Descriptive brochures and registration forms for each training will be distributed to, administrators, and special education personnel.

Professional Assault Crisis Training (20 hr. ProAct)
Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-Act) is a 20 hour comprehensive training course designed to provide professionals with principles to problem solve behavioral challenges across educational settings. These principles will help individuals provide a safe, positive and professional educational environment. These principles will assist the individuals in identifying behavioral triggers and alternatives, develop an emergency response framework and utilize appropriate crisis communication. Documentation, evasion, de-escalation and restraint principles will be discussed and practiced during this training and certification course.
