Who Are We?

Teacher leaders from elementary, middle and high school dedicated to:

offering opportunities for teachers of all levels to enhance their knowledge of the target language, literature and culture
working collaboratively to support classroom language, literature and culture
working collaboratively; to support classroom language teachers in improving student achievement and literacy
establishing a professional home for language teachers
helping teachers have an impact through leadership roles, partnerships and student achievement.

What do we do?

We present programs that will allow participants to:

Spend time practicing multiple approaches to learning
Learning to engage students in content-learning, using the target language as the medium of instruction
Immerse themselves in contextualized foreign language
Concentrate on broadening their knowledge of literature and culture
Keep abreast of language-specific literacy and standards-embedded pedagogy
