Emergency Readiness/Crisis Response Planning

Emergency Readiness/Crisis Response Planning: This training addresses how to prepare and respond to school related crisis and emergencies. Trainers summarize specific related topics and laws relating to school emergency readiness.  The training allows school site teams to identify critical risks and develop a four part plan that includes Prevention/Mitigation, Preparedness, Response and Recovery.  Best practices in response protocols including lockdown, evacuation, containment and long-term shelter in place are provided.  This training will assist schools in meeting compliance with the National Incident Management System (NIMS). The training concludes with resources, summary and next steps.
