About the training:

This training focuses on management of disruptive, assaultive and out-of-control behavior in a school setting. The CPI techniques have proven effective in helping school staff members to resolve potentially violent situations. The principles and strategies taught during this two-day course will give participants the training to prevent the escalation of behavior and to safely intervene when disruptive behavior has gone too far. The CPI verbal and nonverbal de-escalation techniques and physical control restraints are positive interventions that are safe and staff and students. Successful completion of the two CPI sessions and the exam entitles participants to a certification card that verifies CPI Course completion which canbe renewed annually.
