Advanced Support Group Facilitation Skills Training
Who Should Attend?
Certificated or classified school personnel or agency personnel who have previously attended Support Group Facilitation Skills Training and are interested in expanding their expertise. Limit of 25 participants per training.
About the training:
Jerry Moe, currently Director of Children’s Programs at the Betty Ford Center, will conduct his workshop. Mr. Moe has conducted educational support groups for children in a variety of settings since 1978 and is the author of several books for group facilitators and educators. The focus of this workshop will be to enhance the support group facilitation skills of participants and provide them with age appropriate ideas for group activities.
NOTE: This training is designed for those who have previously attended the Support Group Facilitation Skills Training offered by the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office or a similar training program.
Registration Fees:
There are no fees for staff from schools that are members of the Kern County Substance Abuse Prevention Education (KCSAPE) Partnership. The fee for nonmembers is $75/person. This fee includes all workshop materials.

Not currently on the 2007-2008 scheduled.
