Cesar E. Chavez Service Clubs AmeriCorps*VISTA Position
Assist middle schools in Kern County in the development of service clubs and
receive a $4725 education award at end of service!
Details:
FULL-TIME MEMBERS, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday; other times as needed:
- Serve middle schools in Lamont/Edison, Arvin/Weedpatch, Shafter/Buttonwillow, or Greenfield
- Service begins August 11, 2008 and ends August 11, 2009
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Living Allowance of $398.16 paid bi-weekly and
- $350 monthly living stipend
- Health Insurance Benefits
- Child Care Benefits (if needed)
- $4,725 Education Award or $1,200 cash stipend at completion of the term of service.
