Details:

  • Tutor/Mentors for elementary, juniors and seniors
  • Full time positions available
  • Serve in Arvin, Bakersfield, Delano, Lamont , or Shafter, California
  • Service begins September 1, 2009 and ends August 30, 2010
  • We are looking for applicants of all ages over 17 years of age

    FULL-TIME MEMBERS,  8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday :

  • Monthly Living Allowance of $1100
  • Health Insurance Benefits
  • Child Care Benefits
  • $4725 Education Award at completion of 1700 hours of service

    One year, full-time (40 hrs/wk) positions are available for AmeriCorps members to serve as tutors and 
    mentors in Arvin, Bakersfield, Delano, Lamont, or Shafter starting September 1, 2009 and ending 
    May 31, 2010. Full-time applicants must be available to work between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the term of service.
