Hours: 5:30pm - 9:00pm
Tickets: $8 for children and adults / Museum members $6
Join us at Bakersfield's premier TRICK-OR-TREAT experience! Children ages 3 - 12 can safely trick-or-treat for terrific goodies on the Museum grounds in a family style environment. There will be over 30 trick-or-treat stations and lots more fun to enjoy including: Costume Contests • School-type Carnival • Petting Zoo • Food and Beverages • AND SO MUCH MORE!!!
Facts about Safe Halloween
- Trick or treating is restricted to ages 3 – 12. No one over 12 can purchase a bag ticket. Adults 13 and older must purchase a ticket to be allowed on the grounds.
- Ages 2 and under are free if they are not trick or treating. If the parent wants the toddler to trick or treat they must buy a ticket and they are responsible for the safety of the treats.
- Trick or treaters must use our bag. Unauthorized bags will not be allowed or “treated”. Sponsors will not give candy to children without the official Safe Halloween bag.
- Cost of tickets is $8.00 for non-members, $6.00 for members.
- Tickets go on sale Monday, September 8, 2008
- Tickets can be purchased at Kern Schools Federal Credit Union branches, Vallitix locations, at www.vallitix.com or at the Kern County Museum. Receiving tickets through the mail is a privilege of membership.
- No weapons of any kind, real or toy, are allowed. This includes light sabers, guns, swords, canes and fairy wands. This is promoted as a “safe” environment and unintentional injuries can occur due to the number of people on the grounds.
- Food is available at reasonable prices.
- There is also a school type carnival with games and prizes. Cost is .50 cents per coupon.
