2005 Open Doors to Federal Courts

courthouse: CourthouseWe are delighted to invite high school seniors and their teachers to "Open Doors to Federal Courts," a nationwide educational initiative.  Students will participate in a mock trial, listen to presentations and ask questions of a variety of federal employees. The federal courts have a long-term commitment to share in the civic education of high school seniors who are making the transition to adult citizenship.

Wednesday, February 9, 2005, 8:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Kern County Board of Supervisors’ Chambers
1115 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield

Target Audience:  High School Seniors
(Application to Curriculum:  Economics & Government)

Activities Include A Mock Trial & Presentations by:
Seating is limited so reserve your space early!
Lunch provided at no charge to registered  participants
