&lt;H2&gt;Child Development&lt;/H2&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="http://kcsos.kern.org/childdevelopment/"&gt;&lt;B&gt;Early Childhood Education&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR&gt;Early Childhood Education operates 16 child development centers located in Bakersfield, Lamont, McFarland, Shafter, Tehachapi, Wasco and Weldon; serving more than 1,200 preschool children from low-income families. An employer-sponsored child care program also is available in downtown Bakersfield.

&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="http://kcsos.kern.org/cccc/"&gt;&lt;B&gt;Community Connection for Child Care&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR&gt;Community Connection for Child Care (CCCC) is a child development and family services agency dedicated to providing options, education and support to children, families, child development professionals and the community.

&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="http://kcsos.kern.org/eccouncil/"&gt;&lt;B&gt;Early Childhood Council of Kern&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR&gt;Early Childhood Council of Kern is dedicated to promoting and supporting a community-wide effort that results in a quality child care system that meets the needs of all Kern County children and families. &lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;

The Center is an easily accessible, inviting foster youth resource center for comprehensive, integrated services and unique job training.
