    Child Development Services operates 16 child development centers located in Bakersfield, Lamont, McFarland, Shafter, Tehachapi, Wasco and Weldon; serving more than 1,200 preschool children from low-income families. An employer-sponsored child care program also is available in downtown Bakersfield.

  • Community Connection for Child Care
    Community Connection for Child Care (CCCC) is a child development and family services agency dedicated to providing options, education and support to children, families, child development professionals and the community.

  • Kern County Network for Children
    The mission of Kern County Network for Children is to protect and enrich the lives of children in Kern County through the commitment of all community partners by helping to build and sustain healthy families.

  • The Kern County Child Care Council
    The Kern County Child Care Council is dedicated to promoting and supporting a community-wide effort that results in a quality child care system that meets the needs of all Kern County children and families.
