Bi-weekly School and District Mailing Instructions

All labels must include school name, school district, and their delivery day. The internal operations website contains all truck mail labels for both Superintendents/Principals and Schools. Please utilize these labels, they have been updated as soon as the need arises due to changes that take place in our delivery schedule and various sites:

Truck mail is delivered only to public schools in Kern County. During the year we receive vast amounts of mail, to ensure the delivery of please include the following information:

  • First and last name of the recipient.
  • First and last name of Sender/Department.
  • Location of the recipient- School, District and their Delivery Day.
  • Make sure to update your personalized mailing labels each year.
If there are any problems with the address or name on the items the sender/Department will be notified as soon as possible. It is imperative that date sensitive items be labeled correctly or they may be returned in the next scheduled delivery. KCSOS Truck mail is not responsible for postage and any mail that requires postage will be returned.

If your scheduled delivery day happens to fall on a Holiday your items will be mailed to you 2 days before the scheduled delivery date.
