Speech and Language Pathologist - Special Education
SALARY:
$45,622 - $81,876 per year, based on 25 steps and 185 service days, 7.5 hrs/day. Additional $1,000 annual stipend will be paid for a master's degree; $1,300 annual stipend for doctorate. Prepaid medical (with prepaid prescription card), vision, dental and counseling plans provided for employee and family). A life insurance program is also prepaid for the employee. CFY supervision is available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Itinerant Speech and Language Pathologist is responsible for meeting the phonological and linguistic needs of preschool through high school age students in our regular and special day class programs. An AAC position is available.
QUALIFICATIONS:
M.A. degree in speech pathology. Must possess or be eligible for a California credential authorizing services as a speech and language pathologist. Must possess a private vehicle, valid California drivers license and carry current automobile insurance with at least minimum coverage for public liability and property damage.
