SUPPLEMENTAL APPLICATION
REGIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES AIDE I

Please provide a brief response to the following questions.  You may use additional pages to complete your answers.

1. Describe the process you have used or would use during an interview of a potentially qualified migrant student.

2. Migrant Education is outlined in Part C of Title I- No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.  What are the strengths of the program as outlined in this section and what suggestions, if any, would you make for the improvement of the program?

3. What process have you used or would you use in getting services for migrant children and their families from other community service agencies?

4. List the software and/or computer programs with which you are proficient and explain how and why you learned each of them.  Please include any experience you have with entering student information and working with large or small databases.

5. Please translate the following passage into Spanish. 

Attached you will find minutes from the last Regional Advisory Council (R.A.C.) meeting which was held on September 10, 2006 and the agenda for the November meeting. These materials are included for your information. These minutes and agenda should be brought with you along with any changes you feel are necessary.  Please be reminded that you need to bring a copy of your district’s advisory council bylaws to this meeting.

The next R.A.C. meeting is tentatively scheduled for November 19, 2006.  Nominations for the R.A.C. offices as well as the Regional Parent Representative to the State Parent Advisory Committee will be held. As always, your attendance at this meeting is important and critical.
