HOUSING INFORMATION
ASILOMAR 2009
Please read the following information carefully. The procedure this year but has changed greatliy from previous years. Space is assigned on an order-received basis; there is no lottery.
One thing that makes the Asilomar Mathematics Conference such a great
experience is staying on the beautiful grounds. Attendees are able to
share family-style meals with teachers from kindergarten through college. At
the same table there could be teachers from throughout the state and
country, administrators, and people from the state department of education. We urge you to send in your registration form as early in September as possible.
ON-GROUNDS HOUSING
To apply for on-grounds housing complete Step 6 on the registration
form; include the names of all those requesting to room together.
Complete a separate registration form for each person in the group but mail them
all together in one envelope. Each person’s total must be calculated
separately, but one payment for the group is acceptable. Form(s) must be received ASAP. Accommodations are for either two or four persons per room.
Individuals who list no
preference will be assigned roommates; no
single or triple accommodations are available.
NEW this year: You can sign-up one other other person who is NOT registered for the conference for on-grounds accommodations. The regular housing and meals fee of $280 applies, but there are NO additional fees. This allows access to the grounds and meals, but NOT to the exhibit halls or any sessions. For information on a Guest Pass see next. To register yourself and a roommate guest, see step 6 of the registration form.
NEW this year: For $50 you can get a Guest Pass for one additional person, whether or not you stay on-grounds. This will allow your guest access to the Friday night and the Sunday morning keynote addresses. On Saturday a Gurest may NOT attend any sessions, but does have access to the exhibit hall. See step 4 of the registration form.

sure to indicate your special access and dietary needs in step 2 of the
pre-reg form if applicable.
