Resource Library Check-Out Policies

The CCCC Resource Library is located at CCCC's 24th Street office. Child care center staff, family child care home providers and family, friend or neighbor caregivers are encouraged to check out toys, books and videos to enrich the experiences of the children in their care.

Toys can be checked out for one month. Videos and books can be checked out for two weeks, except for West Ed videos which have a three day check out policy. If books and/or videos are being checked out with toys, the due date is extended to the due date of the toys. All videos, books and toys can be reserved over the phone or in person. Parents are also encouraged to visit our Resource Library to check out books on parenting, potty training and child nutrition. Parents are welcomed to use equipment to make homemade books for the children, materials for scrapbooking and party decorations.

The Resource Library has a wide collection of outdoor equipment and toys to keep children of all ages busy this summer. Please also recommend the Library’s extensive toy collection specifically for children with special needs! Visit http://kcsos.kern.org/cccc/stories/storyReader$1128 to see our list of toys and equipment that is available for check out.
