Provider Pantry

There is a Provider Pantry where all licensed Family Child Care providers who are enrolled with the CCCC Child Care Food Program may shop for great food at REDUCED prices!!! Now there is two more ways that the Pantry can help you save money while still feeding your child care children balanced snacks and meals.

• One area has two cold storage boxes that holds items such as ice cream, pie crusts, sausage, hamburger patties, french fries and many other items. You can purchase these for 50 cents per pound. This can be as much as a 50 percent savings. The other cold storage has cheese, bakery goods, breaded chicken portions and some frozen items such as fruit, whip cream, etc.

• Across from this area is now the “Dry Good’s Area." You can find flour, yeast, oils, corn meal and many other items that have not been available in the past. You can purchase these items for 30 cents per pound.

Please remember that not all foods at the pantry are eligible on the CCAFP. For more information on this contact your monitor or any staff in the CCAFP. If you have not shopped the Provider Pantry and you are actively claiming on the CCFP, please contact your monitor or talk to her about joining the Pantry at your next site visit.
The Provider Pantry is held the first Saturday of the month (unless there is a holiday) from 9:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M and is open to all licensed providers who are enrolled with the CCCC Child Care Food Program! The Provider Pantry is closed on holidays and other special events. Please call to confirm.
