McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Assistance Act ensures that each homeless child and youth has equal access to (1) the same free, appropriate public education as other children and youth, and (2) the services that they need to enable them to meet the same challenging student academic achievement standards to which all students are held.
