New Teacher Institute
This program is designed as a training foundation for new special education teachers (Resource Specialists, Special Day Class Teachers and Speech and Language Pathologists.)

September 7 and 21, 2007 ¦ Fall Session
This class is designed as a foundation for new special day class teachers, resource specialists and speech-language pathologists. The following areas will be addressed:
- Becoming an effective special education
- Assessment, standards and instruction
- Building and maintaining an effective learning environment
- Individual education planning and implementation
- Becoming an effective school-based speech and language pathologist
