Speech-Language Pathologists
School speech-language pathologists spend most of their time diagnosing disorders, preparing for, and providing direct services. The majority of speech language pathologists work in more than one school. To diagnose problems, speech-language pathologists use written and oral tests as well as special instruments. They may use sign language or computer technology to communicate with students who cannot speak at all. (Description from National Clearinghouse for Professions in Special Education)
