Sports for Children with Special Needs
Sports benefit all children and their families. They help build a child's self-image, connect children through healthy competition and help children to meet other children of like interests and situations. Sports can also teach children independence as well as teamwork and help improve health, discipline, and confidence.
Sports help children with special needs to be part of society. Sports help to promote a focus on the child's ability versus disability.
