Welcome to the KCSOS Research Services website. Since 1994,
Research Services has been conducting objective research that is
accessible to all of Kern County education. Our findings have provided
education policymakers with an objective analysis assessment of the
conditions of education in Kern County.
Whether it be in the areas of school demographics, survey research, Geographic Information Services (GIS) technology, and now increasingly school finance. We are proud that our findings meet the standards of education policy researchers and analysts school boards, Kern County community leaders and state legislators.
Research Services is a professional research unit of the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office, a recognized leader in education in the state of California. We focus our research on policy issues affecting K-12 institutions and the families and children they serve. Moreover, Research Services has expanded the scope of its research endeavors to meet the needs of Kern County's diverse population and economy.
Research Services prides itself on the quality and completeness of its work. We are dedicated to our clients, but foremost to producing high quality products while upholding the Research Code of Ethics.
Some of our previous projects focused on welfare reform, child care, transportation, community/regional economic analysis.
