Wright newsletter earns national honor

Wright publishes the Kern County Educational Office Professionals (KAEOP) newsletter, and it was judged the third best among all those submitted at the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP) yearly convention. The remarkable part of the story is that it was Wright’s first attempt at publishing a newsletter - a four-page, four-color layout.

At an informal July 27 ceremony in the county office sixth floor conference room, KAEOP President Becky Shipley presented Wright with the third place plaque from the NAEOP.

“I’m shocked and surprised,” said Wright. “I am also grateful because of everything Becky (Shipley) did to make the newsletter possible.”
