Authorizations for Teaching English Learners

Please refer to the following links in reference to the various teaching authorization options that are available.

• California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) from the CTC in regards to the transition between CLAD and CTEL authorizations. (Dated February 25, 2005) Click here for this information.

• CTEL (California Teacher of English Learners) Examination - Test option available; exam replaced CLAD examination and coursework process.  Click here for the latest test dates and registration information.
