Bertha Hill Bruschi

Bertha Hill Bruschi has spent most of her adult life supporting public education as a board member, parent and community volunteer. A nurse by profession, she volunteered her services in numerous health and vaccination clinics. She is a former member of the Bakersfield City School District board of education. In addition to being a member of the Kern County Board of Education, she serves on the Kern County Committee on School District Organization. This committee, established by state statute, reviews and makes recommendations on school district boundary changes, mergers, property shifts and unification proposals.
