Position Control helps to prevent district staff from hiring a new employee without an authorized position to which that employee can be assigned. It guards against the over-assignment of a position beyond its authorized FTE limit, and provides appropriate information distribution throughout an organization via site-level staffing reports and access to on-line data. Position Control is also used to improve the accuracy and speed of budget projections and to provide a valuable negotiating tool. It allows the speedy production of salary and benefits cost projection reports based on the actual people holding the positions. The Position Control System also allows the loading of salary and benefit projections data directly into the QSS/OASIS Budget Development System, reducing potential data entry error and saving staff time. You can print a cover page and spine insert for binders.
