> NEW!!! < QCC Documentation and Training Guides
This section contains links to the most current documentation for QCC (QSS ControlCenter). Each link in the table below opens a PDF file (Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or newer required). If you do not have this program or you have an earlier version, click on the Get Acrobat Reader icon to download a free copy.
| Absence Tracking Transition Guide (QCC) (6/07) (2.1MB) | This guide is intended for QSS customers who are transitioning from the Traditional to the QCC version of the QSS/OASIS Absence Tracking System. It assumes you are familiar with QSS/OASIS Absence Tracking. This guide is designed to answer the ‘how do I do that in the QCC’ questions for those customers who know the answer to the ‘how do I do that’ questions for the Traditional version of QSS/OASIS Absence Tracking. This guide is not meant to be a complete manual or training guide, but a quick reference to get you started. You can also download this guide as a PowerPoint presentation (3.1MB). |
| Accounts Receivable (10/04) (4.1MB) | This manual tells how to use the Client/Server Accounts Receivable software. This Microsoft Windows-based software allows you to create invoices and record receipts in the General Ledger database. You can print a cover page and spine insert for binders. To update printed copies, print the entire 10/04 edition and discard any previous versions. |
| Configuring Non-Privileged Windows Users to Update QCC (7/23/07) (2MB) Updated | This GUIDE tells how to set up QCC so AUTOUPDATE can update QCC on Windows workstations when a Windows user is logged in to an account that does not allow installing or updating software. These instructions tell how to create a privileged Windows account and configure the AUTOUPDATE process to log in to that account when updating QCC. NOTE: If you set up this Windows user before installing the GS14 Release, consult with your account manager for supplemental instructions. The 7/23/07 update includes additional instructions for setting up the privileged account at sites with multiple domains. |
| Core Financial Manual (QCC) (11/07) New | This manual is a reference guide for setting up and using the QSS/OASIS Financial System. It tells how to set up the general ledger for a fiscal year, create a chart of accounts, manage the budget, make adjustments to the general ledger, and create reports. Chapter 9 of this document is the replacement for the QCC Financial Reports document. You can print a cover page and spine insert for binders. |
| Financial Reports (QCC) (07/06) 5.2MB | This document is obsolete. For the most recent documentation for financial reports, see Chapter 9 in the QCC Core Financial Manual. |

| Guide to QSSXML and QSS Job Requestor (5/05) (2.5MB) | This guide is written for Account Managers to help them check and modify the hundreds of Student and other reports so that the QCC-based report request windows match those on the traditional screens. The purpose of this program is to let non-programmers modify the QCC report request windows to match the ‘traditional screen’ requests, and to produce accurate output in the reports, like the ‘traditional screen’ requests. |
| Initial QCC Setup Guidelines (1/06) (0.3MB) | This guide tells you how to get started with setting up QCC users, user classes, and printers after you have installed QCC on your system. |

| Package Manager for QSS ControlCenter (QCC) (0.2MB) (7/1/07) | These instructions tell how to use Package Manager to download and manage installation packages for updating the QCC programs on PCs. | Printing Reports with Print Manager (2/08) (3.1MB) Updated |
This guide tells how to use the QCC version of Print Manager to print reports that you launch from the traditional QSS/OASIS software and from the QCC screens in QCC. Print Manager allows you to view reports by date created, job number, report title, and report name. You can have up to 9 View windows for reports open simultaneously, and you can easily export reports to Word, Excel, PDF, or a delimited text file. You can print a cover page and spine insert for binders. |
| QSS ControlCenter Guide (8/28/06) (1.5MB) |

After you log into QCC, it allows you to select the QSS/OASIS programs to which you have access. This guide also tells how to launch reports from the Job Menu window and update copies of QCC on your PC. |
| Student Maintenance Notes (3/06) (1.3MB) | These notes tell how to use the Student Maintenance window included on the GS3 Release. This window is the QCC version of Student Maintenance (SA0002) in the traditional software. Each of the tabs on the Student Maintenance window correspond to one of the screens in SA0002. |
| Student Query Notes (3/06) (0.6MB) | These notes tell how to use the Student Query window included on the GS3 Release. This window is the equivalent of Student Query (QQSTU) in the traditional software. |
